Raja Bheema

Raja Bheema aka Rajabheema is an upcoming Indian Tamil language action thriller film directed by Naresh Sampath on his directorial debut and dialogues written by Karundhel Rajesh.[1] The storyline of the film is based on the connection between a man and elephant.[2] The film stars Arav, Ashima Narwal in the lead roles. The music for the film is composed by Simon K. King with lyrics penned by Madhan Karky . The film is produced by S. Mohan under the production banner Surbhi Films.

The film was announced by newcomer Naresh Sampath on his directorial debut in early 2018 and revealed that Arav would play the lead role for the first time in his career after taking part in Bigg Boss Tamil 1.[3] The first look of the film was unveiled on 14 September 2018, during the 88th day (13th week) of the second season of Bigg Boss Tamil show by the film's actor Arav himself who was present as guest during the launching of the first look poster.[4] It was also reported that Arav made his film debut as playback singer through this film as he voiced for one song.[5] Ashima Narwal was approached to play the female lead in the film while she was poised to make her much awaited Tamil film debut titled Kolaigaran.[6]

The first schedule of the shooting procedure commenced and progressed in Pallakad.[7] The second schedule of the film went on floors in around December 2018 in Pollachi and the final schedule of the film is expected to take place in Coimbatore during January 2019. Oviya who is known for her speculations as Arav's girlfriend who also took part during the first season of the Bigg Boss Tamil appeared in a cameo appearance and she is set to feature in an item song with his Bigg Boss mate Arav.[8][9] The shooting of the kuthu song featuring Oviya would take place in around January 2019.[10]
