RMR (singer)
Patrick Juteh Geegbae,[1] known professionally as RMR (pronounced "rumor") is an American singer, rapper and songwriter originating in Atlanta, Georgia and currently based in Los Angeles, California. He first attained notoriety when "Rascal", his cover version of the Rascal Flatts song "Bless the Broken Road" went viral on YouTube in February 2020.[2][3]
RMR has received comparisons to Lil Nas X for his musical style, fusing elements of hip hop and country music. In addition to Rascal Flatts, he cites Kanye West, Drake, Lil Wayne and Michael Jackson as influences on his music.[4]
RMR's debut EP, Drug Dealing Is a Lost Art, was released on June 12, 2020 via Warner Records and Cmnty Rcrds. The eight-track EP contains features from Westside Gunn, Future and Lil Baby.
