Puthiya Mugam

Puthiya Mugam (transl. New Face) is an upcoming Tamil-language thriller film directed by debutant Sriram D Prasath.[1] The film features Kalaiyarasan, Arundhati in the lead roles, with R.K. Suresh, Jagan, Mime Gopi playing supporting roles.[2][3] The film has a musical score by Achu Rajamani.[4]

In April 2018, it was revealed that Kalaiyarasan would work on a thriller directed by a debutant named Sriram Dhanabalakrishnan. The team also roped in Arundathi as the lead actress while they also roped in R.K. Suresh, Mime Gopi for supporting roles. Later, they signed actor Jagan to provide comic relief. Kalaiyarasan was busy shooting for multiple projects simultaneously. The team continued its shoot and wrapped it up soon. The film is expected to release on 13th March 2020.

Music

Achu was roped in as the music director of Mugam. His hit number 'Oh Baby Girl' from the movie Maalai Pozhudhin Mayakathilaey was rebooted as a new version for this movie.
