Publish2

Publish2 is a Virginia-based startup in collaborative journalism. It launched in private beta in 2007 and received an initial $2.75 million round of financing in March 2008.[1] Its initial product was the Link Newswire, which introduced link journalism, an idea pioneered by P2 co-founder Scott Karp.[2][3] The Link Newswire is used by an estimated 10,000 American journalists[4] and is featured the websites of The New York Times and the Spokesman Review, among others.

On May 24, 2010, P2 announced News Exchange, which seeks to disrupt the Associated Press by creating a true co-op.[5] Publish2 is a finalist at the TechCrunch Disrupt conference.
