Prunus buxifolia

Prunus buxifolia is a species of tree in the family Rosaceae.[1][2] It is endemic to Colombia,[1][3] where it is called Chuwacá.

Distribution and habitat

P. buxifolia is native to the montane forests of the eastern Colombian Andes, between 2500–3650 m of elevation.[1][2][4]
