Progreston Falls

Progreston Falls is a 6.7-metre-high (22 ft) and 16.5-metre-wide (54 ft) terraced curtain waterfall found on private property, (private with permission to access), in Carlisle, Hamilton, Ontario, Canada.[1][2]

Progreston was once a manufacturing centre on account of the available water power. The community of Progreston deteriorated rapidly as the twentieth century progressed, and by the 1950s was reduced to a handful of residents.

No trail currently in place and no potential for new trail.

From Highway 403 take the Highway 6 North (Guelph) exit and travel approximately 13 kilometres to Carlisle Road. Turn right on Carlisle Road and then turn right onto Progreston Road. The waterfall is beneath the overhead railway bridge.[3]
