Preetha Vijayakumar

Preetha Hari (née Vijayakumar; born 10 January 1982) is an Indian film actress in the Tamil, Malayalam and Telugu film industries. She was the leading actress from 1998 to 2002.

In this Indian name, the name Vijayakumar is a patronymic, not a family name, and the person should be referred to by the given name, Preetha.

Career

Preetha had first signed up to portray the leading role in Ravi Raja Pinisetty's Telugu film Rukmini opposite Vineeth in 1997, but delays meant her Tamil film Sandhippoma released first.[1] She is noted for her role in the movie Padayappa as Rajinikanth's daughter.

Personal life

She was born as second child to actor Vijayakumar and actress Manjula. She is married to director Hari in 2002. They couple have 3 sons. She is currently known as Pritha Hari.
