Headquartered in New York City, Phreesia has approximately 400 employees across the United States and in Ottawa, Canada.

Phreesia was founded in January 2005 by CEO Chaim Indig and COO Evan Roberts.[1][2] Since its foundation, Michael Weintraub serves as Chairman of the company.[3] In 2008 Chaim Indig was appointed as President and CEO.[4]

Phreesia's main product, a tablet called PhreesiaPad, is deployed in waiting rooms to help checking in the patients.[5][6][7][8][9] In 2017 the company launched its app PhreesiaMobile which allows patients to begin with the check-in process at home.[2] Phreesia acquired Vital Score Health in 2018.[10] Since July 2019, the company is listed on the NYSE.[11] After the COVID-19 outbreak Phreesia in February 2020 launched a free new screening module for its clients.[12]
