Photo Finish Records

Photo Finish Records is an independent record label in New York City.[3] The label was started in 2006 by booking agent Matt Galle (named Billboard's "40 under 40"[4] ") and is known for a diverse roster that includes alternative bands, indie/pop bands, and hip hop artists.

History

The label's first release was in November 2006 when they put out the debut Envy on the Coast five song EP. Shortly after, they signed Danger Radio, and released their EP and debut studio album.

Photo Finish achieved success with its next signing 3OH!3. The band's debut album WANT debuted at number 88 and peaked at number 44 on the Billboard Top 200 Chart. The band's song "Don't Trust Me" ranked in the number 1 position on the Top 40 Charts and eventually sold over 3 million digital copies.

Anthony Green's album Avalon debuted in August 2008 at number 44 on the Billboard charts, making it the label's most successful first-week performance for a release.

Over the past ten years, Photo Finish has sold over a million albums and more than 22 million singles, including 3OH!3's hit "Don't Trust Me".

"Don't Trust Me" went to No. 1 on Billboard's Pop Songs chart in July 2009.[5]

In 2016, Photo Finish Records inked a partnership deal with Caroline,[5] whereby Caroline will distribute the indie label's releases.
