Peter Sullivan (screenwriter)

Peter Sullivan (born November 30, 1976) is an American screenwriter, film director and film producer.

Peter Sullivan was born in Shrewsbury, Massachusetts and graduated from New York University's Tisch School of the Arts with a degree in Film and Television.

He directed the Hallmark original movie Christmas Under Wraps. Christmas Under Wraps was the highest rated telecast in Hallmark Channel history and the second highest rated cable movie in 2014.[1]

His directing credits include the Lionsgate release Summoned, High School Possession, a horror thriller, Dear Secret Santa, Hidden Away, a Lifetime thriller, the Lifetime original Christmas movie, All About Christmas Eve and Christmas Twister, 12 Wishes of Christmas, and The Dog Who Saved Halloween, the short Stephen King Night Surf, and the comedy web-series Everyone Counts, about the 2010 Census featuring French Stewart. In the summer of 2007, he directed a series of behind-the-scenes segments for the web-series In the Motherhood,.

His writing credits include: Abandoned, the Hallmark film Christmas Wedding Tail, A Valentine Date,, Stolen, Obsession, Seduced by Lies, Eve's Christmas, one of the highest rated Christmas movies in Lifetime history, His and Her Christmas, the New Line Cinema release Poison Ivy 4: The Secret Society, the Syfy original Killer Mountain, The Perfect Student, A Christmas Proposal, Termination Point, Blind Injustice, Cave In, Secret Lives, His and Her Christmas, Trapped, Hydra, Past Lies, Encounter With Danger, Faultline. He also co-wrote the airline disaster film Turbulent Skies with director Fred Olen Ray.

He has also written a remake of the B-movie classic Invasion of the Bee Girls for producer Fred Weintraub , Final Sanction, an action film, and The Tower, a horror feature for Cinetel Films.

In 2008, Peter became vice-president of producer Jeffrey Schenck's production company ARO Entertainment. His credits include: Jersey Shore Shark Attack, Wyatt Earp's Revenge, he co-produced ABC Family's hit family film The Dog Who Saved Christmas and its sequels The Dog Who Saved Christmas Vacation and The Dog Who Saved the Holidays, the submarine feature Silent Venom, Syfy Channel originals Phantom Racer, and Ice Road Terror, American Bandits: Frank and Jesse, The Boy Next Door, Christmas Town, The Christmas Clause, Desperate Escape, Trace of Danger, A Nanny For Christmas, and Nightfall. He was also a co-producer on the web series Woke Up Dead.

In addition to his film work, Peter has written for the internet site Latino Review, and he has also co-written the horror graphic novel Burning Man with comic book author Stephen Stern ("Zen the Intergalactic Ninja") and Kenneth Ceballos. It is available to download on Amazon.

In 2018, Sullivan directed the Netflix psychological thriller Secret Obsession.[2] The film was released on July 18, 2019.[3]
