Peter Grill and the Philosopher's Time

Peter Grill and the Philosopher's Time (ピーター・グリルと賢者の時間, Pītā Guriru to Kenja no Jikan) is a Japanese fantasy manga series by Daisuke Hiyama. It has been serialized in Futabasha's seinen manga magazine Monthly Action since July 2017 and has been collected in four tankōbon volumes. The manga is licensed in North America by Seven Seas Entertainment.[1] An anime television series adaptation by Wolfsbane is set to premiere on July 10, 2020.

Anime

An anime television series adaptation was announced in the November issue of Monthly Action on September 25, 2019.[4] The series is animated by Wolfsbane and directed by Tatsumi, with Nora Mōri writing the scripts and Rui Ishige designing the characters.[2] It will begin airing on July 10, 2020 on Tokyo MX.[5][3] The opening theme song, "Tsurenaite Yūtsu" (Piercing Melancholy), will be performed by Yui Ninomiya as her character Luvelia Sanctos.[3] The ending theme song, "Yoridokoro" (A Shoulder to Lean On), will be performed by Hilcrhyme.[3] Shusei's Project will be performing an insert song titled, "Ti amo".[3]
