Premise

A photographer and her family find hope and solace in an injured Magpie chick while struggling to adjust to the photographer's wife's paralysis following a balcony collapsing whilst on an overseas holiday with her family.

The rights to the book were acquired in December 2016. Naomi Watts was set to star, and will produce alongside Bruna Papandrea and Emma Cooper.[1][2] In June 2017, Shaun Grant was hired to write the screenplay.[3] By February 2019, Glendyn Ivin was set to direct, and in July Andrew Lincoln, Jacki Weaver and Rachel House were added to the cast.[4][5][6]

Filming began in Australia in early August 2019.[7][8][9]
