Paula Šūmane
Paula Šūmane (born 4 May 1989 in Riga) is a Latvian concert violinist and the prize winner of international violin competitions[1][2] and the Latvian Great Music Award.[3] She is a graduate of Conservatoire national supérieur de musique et de danse de Paris[4] and Universität für Musik und darstellende Kunst Graz. As a soloist and orchestra concertmaster, Šūmane has collaborated with world-renowned conductors, such as Daniel Raiskin, Pinchas Steinberg,)Sesto Quatrini , Simone Young, Antonio Mendez, Andris Poga, Francesco Ivan Ciampa, Lawrence Foster, Eiji Oue, Michele Mariotti, Normunds Šnē, and others.[5]
