Parisian (cocktail)

A Parisian is a cocktail with dry vermouth, gin, and crème de cassis.[1][2] Blackberries are a common garnish.[3] The drink was created in the 1920s to promote crème de cassis.[4]

Variations

The Bobo Parisian has Tanqueray gin, St-Germain, Kina L’avion D’or, rhubarb bitters, an egg white, a splash of club soda, and a star anise garnish.[5]

The gin and tonic-inspired version has herbal gin, elderflower liqueur, tonic water, and champagne, and is garnished with a slapped sage leaf or two and a lemon wedge.[6]
