The hotel is part of The Dedica Anthology Hotels chain and has since 2013 been a member of the Autograph Collection by Marriott.
On June 19, 2013 actor James Gandolfini died in the hospital after a heart attack in the hotel.
On April 21, 2018 the hotel has been rebranded to Palazzo Naiadi, as part of the new hotel chain the Dedica Anthology.
