Pa' quererte

Pa' quererte is a Colombian telenovela produced and distribuited by RCN Televisión that premiered on RCN Televisión on 7 January 2020.[1] The series is an adaptation of the Mexican telenovela Papá a toda madre broadcast on Las Estrellas in 2018.[2] It stars an ensemble cast headed by Sebastián Martínez, Laura de León, Luis Eduardo Arango, and Diana Wiswell.[1] The plot revolves around 4 friends of different ages football fans who have a small team, in addition to this the 4 are non-conventional parents who will have to assume their role as parents.[1] It will air Monday to Friday at 8:00 p.m., replacing El man es Germán.[3]

2020 coronavirus pandemic

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic in Colombia, RCN Televisión temporarily suspended the telenovela, broadcasting the last episode on 20 March 2020. This, because production has not ended, and quarantine has been decreed.[9] As a result of this problem, RCN Televisión made the decision to create a web series titled Pa' quererte en casa, where the four male protagonists tell anecdotes of how they live the pandemic from their homes.[10]

Mauricio is a successful designer and entrepreneur; In fact, his only concern is to present the new collection of underwear of his company "Hebe". Every detail is important and his friends work with him to carry it out successfully. A few days after the fashion week parade, Mauricio's life seems about to change with the arrival of María, a woman he met nine years ago, but who has now returned with a 9-year-old girl named Isabel, ensuring that she is Mauricio's daughter and needs to be cared for, for the next 6 months. Mauricio gets a big surprise when he learns that María is gone and has left Isabel in his care. His reaction is to go looking for her before he takes the flight to Australia, where he plans to go to work. Mauricio is forced to take Isabel to the company, and although he tries to hide it, several find out that she is his daughter.

María communicates with Mauricio to talk to her daughter, but they argue when she realizes that the girl is not with him, but with Dany, a friend of Mauricio. For his part, Mauricio asks his lawyer friend to advise him on the issue of his daughter, because he still has doubts that Isabel is his daughter. As Jorge recommended Mauricio to have a DNA test, Mauricio communicates with his friend Dany to help him convince the girl or get what they need for the procedure; however, and despite Mauricio's insistence, Dany refuses to manipulate Isabel. Finally Isabel agrees to the procedure as long as Mauricio fully fulfills all his promises.

In the middle of the parade rehearsal, Mauricio learns that all of Hebe's bank accounts are empty and that Fabián stole it. Now not only does he have to take care of a daughter he didn't know, but he probably won't have anything to keep her with.

Shortly before the end of the parade, the police arrive with an arrest warrant for Mauricio, because they blame him for possible fraud and fraud.
