PAR1 (gene)

Prader-Willi/Angelman region-1, also known as PWAR1, is a human gene.[2] The gene plays a role in posteriorization of follicle cells. They send a signal back to the nucleus of the oocyte after they have received the protein gurken for posteriorization.Par-1 is a serine-threonine kinase and organizes the microtubuli anterior and posterior of the oöcyt.
