Oscar Lawalata

Oscar Lawalata, full name Oscar Septianus Lawalata (born in Pekanbaru, Riau, 1 September 1977, age 36 years) is an Indonesian fashion designer.[1] He was born with a mother from Maluku, Ragnild Lawalata Antoinette (better known as Reggy Lawalata) who was an artist and a father from Manado, Alexander Polii (now divorced). His younger brother, Mario Lawalata, is Indonesian soap opera player.

Oscar had studied fashion at fashion schools in Jakarta, Esmod. The program should be finished by 3 years however he only finished half of his study and quit school during the monetary crisis in 1998. With the money leftover that he had in school he open his own boutique along with his partner Novie.[2]
