Osasco Futebol Clube, commonly known as Osasco, is a Brazilian football club based in Osasco, São Paulo state.

History

The club was founded on January 7, 1971 as Monte Negro Futebol Clube, and professionalized its football department in 1979, when they competed in the Campeonato Paulista Série A3.[1] They competed for the last time in a professional competition as Monte Negro in 1992, when they participated in the Campeonato Paulista Segunda Divisão.[1] After several financial difficulties, the club was founded again on December 8, 1992 as Osasco Futebol Clube.[1]

Osasco Futebol Clube play their home games at Estádio José Liberatti.[1] The stadium has a maximum capacity of 5,600 people.[2]
