One Second of Life
One Second of Life (original title in Romanian: O secundă de viață) is a 2009 Romanian drama film directed and written by Ioan Cãrmãzan. The film stars Antoaneta Cojocaru, Costel Cașcaval, Andrei Pandele, Cristian Iacob and Maia Morgenstern. Based on the Lucian Dan Teodorovici's novel Our Circus Presents, the plot follows Edgar Furman (Pandele), a young man who is obsessed with the idea to commit suicide; after he saves Socaliuc (Cașcaval), a man who constantly tries to commit suicide to impress the people around him, they become friends and start to share their life stories.

The film premiered on 17 April 2009 in Romania and was attended by 627 people,[1] gaining $1,812 at the box office.[2] Film critic Andrei Gorzo, writing for Dilema veche, gave One Second of Life a negative review, saying that "Cărmăzan has no rigor. His tone is totally deficient".[3]
