Olesya Aleksandrovna Denisova

Olesya Alexandrovna Denisova is an artist and member of the Union of Artists of the Russian Federation since 2012. She is a teacher, model, actress, and member of the international yoga alliance.[1][2].

Biography

She was born on January 14, 1980, in the Praha (Czech Republic) in a military family. Her father, Denisov Alexander Ivanovich, is a lieutenant colonel in the reserve. Her mother is Denisova Kavsarya Abdreevna. She has two older sisters[3].

During the early years of her life, she changed places of residence with her parents. Significant was proud: Saint Petersburg, there was a curiosity about high art; military town Elan (Sverdlovsk region) there is an elementary school; Perm city, where she received education: school number 93 (with a sports bias), art-school no. 1, Art College No. 1, painting department, Perm State Technical University (design department), Perm Institute of Culture and Arts, portrait painting department under the guidance of artist Shirokova E.N.

From childhood, she showed a strong interest in classical music. Edvard Grieg was her favorite composer. She dreamed of becoming a ballerina and enjoyed sketching. Beginning at the age of five, she tried to paint portraits of writers and composers. In 1990 she learned about the Children's Art School, which she attended until 1997.

She attended Perm State Technical University in the Department of Industrial Design (1997–2002). She graduated from the Art College, department of easel painting. After attempting to work as a designer, she entered the Perm Institute of Culture and Arts (2005–2011), the portrait painting department, under the guidance of Eugene Nikolaevich Shirokov. She studied in the workshop of the master. Works by any graphics means. Mostly academic manner, directions are different. For five years she worked in the "Dobro" icon-painting workshop. She painted icons in an academic manner and was engaged in restoration. "The center of my creativity is a human. Human is the source of inspiration. To depict the character and essence of a person is the main task."[4] "The Perm Art Gallery accepted the portrait of the poet and actor O. Gruz in its collection (graphics work). State Museum V.V. Mayakovsky (Moscow) took over the portrait of V. Mayakovsky (graphics work). She painted portraits of Danilina V.N., Shirokova E.N., Berezovsky A.K., Kusturitsa, Sidorova Yu.M., Archimandrite Seksyaev, Rothko.

From 1997 to 2002 she worked as a model, starting at the agency Modus Vivendis (Perm)[5]. Then she moved to the agency Elvira Zaitseva "Great Model"[6]. Podium work (Perm, Moscow) and publications in magazines[7]. The first regional model hit the page of the magazine Playboy (Moscow)[8].

In 2015, she participated in the amateur theater production Red Flower (Perm). After two months of training in the studio director of the theater, Dmitry Anatolyevich Taktashkin invited her to the main theater troupe. She performed in A Tale in the Fog by Sergei Kozlov [9][10], Margaret Duras, role-patient, Alice in Wonderland by L. Kerl[11] and The Seagull by Anton Chekhov. As part of the troupe twice won the grand prix festivals[12].

Since 2006, she has practiced of hatha yoga. Since 2007, she has been a vegetarian. Since 2015, she has taught yoga. In 2018 she studied in India at the Om Shanti Om School. She received a certificate from the International Yoga Alliance. She is the author of the seminars "Yoga as Meditation", "Plastic in Yoga", and "Strength and plastic of Hatha Yoga".

In 2015 and 2017 she participated in I Am Live[13], where with other participants she survived on a desert island.[14]

She was married from 2006 to 2011. Her hobbies include riding, mountain skiing, surfing, and hiking. She has traveled to Thailand, Laos, Cambodia, Bali, Java, India.
