Odd Fellows Cemetery (Philadelphia)
Odd Fellows Cemetery was a cemetery at 24th and Diamond Streets in Philadelphia, established in 1849 and demolished in the 1950s.[1]

The gatehouse was designed by architect Stephen Decatur Button.
In 1950, the cemetery property was acquired by the Philadelphia Housing Authority for construction of a housing project. The bodies interred there were moved to two other cemeteries owned by the Odd Fellows: Mount Peace Cemetery in Philadelphia and Lawnview Memorial Park in Rockledge, Pennsylvania.[1] However, in 2013, workers unearthed 28 graves and bones that were not moved and remained under the playground of the William Dick school built in 1954[2] along with the housing project.[3]

- George Lippard (1822-1854), Novelist, journalist, playwright, social activist and labor organizer[1]The Lippard grave and memorial were moved to Lawnview in 1951.[4]
