Nooshi Dadgostar

Mehrnoosh "Nooshi" Dadgostar (born 20 June 1985 in Ängelholm) is a Swedish politician for the Left Party and a member of Riksdagen.[1] She is currently the vice party leader of her party. Dadgostar is the party spokesperson for social insurance questions. On 3 February 2020, Dadgostar announced that she would be running for leader of her party after Jonas Sjöstedt.[2]

Her parents came to Sweden from Iran to escape persecution in the early 1980s. She grew up in Hisingen.[3]
