No. 90 (Signals) Group RAF

No. 90 Group was a group (air force unit) of the Royal Air Force.

No. 26 Group and No. 60 Group RAF were amalgamated to form No. 90 (Signals) Group on 24 April 1946 under the administrative control of British Air Forces of Occupation and Transport Command. It became an independent Group in 1951 or 1952. It was raised in status to become RAF Signals Command on 3 November 1958, reverting to Group status on 1 January 1969 within RAF Strike Command. It was transferred to RAF Maintenance Command on 1 September 1972 and disbanded on 31 August 1973,[1] becoming part of RAF Support Command.[2]
