Nishabdham

Nishabdham (transl. Silence) is an upcoming Indian thriller film directed by Hemant Madhukar. The film starring Anushka Shetty as lead role alongside Madhavan, Anjali, Michael Madsen, Subbaraju, Shalini Pandey and Srinivas Avasarala in supporting roles.[1] This film was shot simultaneously in Telugu and Tamil, with the latter version titled Silence.[2] The film was scheduled to be released on 31 January 2020 but was postponed to 2 April 2020.[3] The release was postponed due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Marketing and release

The title look of Nishabdham was released on 7 July 2019, marking the completion of Anushka Shetty's 14 years in the industry.

The first look of Anushka was revealed on 11 September 2019.[5][6] Madhavan's look from the film was unveiled on 7 October 2019.[7]

The teaser of the film was released on 7 November 2019 marking Anushka's birthday.[8] The trailer of the film was released on 6 March 2020.[9]

The film was scheduled to be released on 31 January 2020 but was postponed to 2 April 2020.[3] It has since been delayed indefinitely due to the COVID-19 pandemic.[10]

The song "Ninne Ninne"in Telugu and "Neeye Neeye"in Tamil and Malayalam was released as single from the album of Nishabdham on 17 December 2019 on the YouTube page of Mango Music. The song was sung by Sid Sriram in Telugu,Alap Raju in Tamil and Madhu Balakrishan in Malayalam.
