Nick Fraser

Nick Fraser (born 21 January 1948) is a British documentary producer and journalist.[1] He spent seventeen years at the BBC, where he created and ran the international documentary strand Storyville.[2] In 2016 he left the BBC to launch the documentary SVOD platform Yaddo.[3]

Fraser is also a founder and executive producer of the Danish nonprofit organisation The Why Foundation,[4] and has authored several non-fiction books.[5]

In May 2017, it was announced that Fraser is to be awarded the BAFTA Special Award for his work in the field of documentary.[6]
