Nice to Be with You

"Nice to Be with You" is a 1972 song by Gallery from the album of the same name. It became an international Top 5 hit, reaching #4 on the Hot 100 and #1 on the U.S. Cash Box Top 100. It also reached #1 in Canada. The song reached #4 in Australia and #2 in New Zealand.[1][2]

On Dick Clark's "American Bandstand" on 26 February 1972, the song, which had just debuted on that date on the Hot 100, received a "lousy" average of 57.5, on a scale from 35 to 98, on the "Rate-a-Record" segment of the show. Nevertheless, the group performed the song on the 13 May 1972 edition of "American Bandstand".[3]
