Nguyễn Tân Cương
Nguyễn Tân Cương is a Vietnamese Colonel general, the current Vice Chief of the General Staff of the Vietnam People's Army.

Nguyễn Tân Cương was born in 1966 in Hà Nam Province, joined the Communist Party of Vietnam in 2016, and served as the military Commissioner of the provincial party Committee.
Other positions held included:
- Deputy Commander cum Chief of Staff of 4th Military Region (Vietnam People's Army) (2013–14)
- Commander of 4th Military Region (Vietnam People's Army) (2014–18)[1]
- Deputy Chief of General Staff[2] (2018-19)
- Deputy Minister of Defence[3] (2019- present)
Rank
Nguyễn Tân Cương was promoted to Major General in 2012, Lieutenant General in 2016.
