Nenad Sakić

Nenad Sakić (Serbian Cyrillic: Ненад Сакић; born 15 June 1971) is a Serbian former footballer and current head coach.

Club career

During a distinguished career, he played for the likes of Red Star Belgrade, Lecce and Sampdoria.

International career

Sakić won six caps for FR Yugoslavia between 1998 and 2000.

Post-playing career

After finishing out his playing career he became the director of football at FK Napredak Kruševac. On 20 December 2008, he was named the new head coach of Napredak after Jovica Škoro was fired.[1] That year he made very good results with the team and they finished with 4th place. He was declared the best coach of the season. He was assistant to Siniša Mihajlović in Serbia, Sampdoria and Milan. In the summer of 2017, Sakić returned to his homegrown club, Napredak.
