History

Before India gained independence from Britain, Sudasana (village near Nava Sudasana) was a small place ruled by Barad Rajput (Branch of Parmar Rajput). The ancestors of the people of Nava Sudasana used to work at Thakor Saheb's palace. They played many different roles at the palace, such as treasurer, secretory, soldiers etc. As their families started to grow, the Rajputs of Sudasana felt that they needed a bigger place to live, so they decided to plan a residency 2 km from Sudasana which nowadays is known as Nava Sudasana. Most of the people living in Nava Sudasana are Barad Paramara.
