National Documentation Centre (Greece)

The National Documentation Centre (EKT; Greek: Εθνικό Κέντρο Τεκμηρίωσης) of Greece collects and preserves scientific and cultural content and data in digital form. In service of its mission, it runs several national online services, including digital libraries,[1] electronic publishing services,[2] and a search portal.[3] The Greek government established the EKT in 1980 to electronically coordinate scientific, technical, and cultural information.[4] The centre operates from headquarters in the National Hellenic Research Foundation on Vasileos Konstantinou Avenue in Athens.[5]
