National Black Women’s Reproductive Justice Agenda

The National Black Women’s Reproductive Justice Agenda is new policy-based partnership based on the principles of reproductive justice. The groups that have signed on see reproductive justice as the human right to control one's own bodies, one's own sexuality, one's own gender, one's own work and one's own reproduction. They believe that this right can only be achieved when all women and girls have the complete economic, social, and political power and resources to make healthy decisions about their bodies, their families, and their communities in all areas of our lives.

Marcella Howell is the founder and executive director.[1]

The group will focus on abortion rights and access, contraceptive equity and comprehensive sex education as our key policy issues.[2]
