Nandimukh

Nandimukh is a Zila Shilpakala Academy, based drama group.[1] They stage creative and timely dramas.[2] The team is headed by playwright Abhijit Sen Gupta.[3] Although ZIla Shilpakala Academy, Chittagong is a theater troupe, they organize international drama festivals with the participation of different countries.[4][5][6]

History

Nandimukh started his journey on November 16, 1990 and has so far brought 14 productions to the stage.[7] The drama troupe has written about rebellion, songs of revolution, liberation war, freedom movement, humanity, non-communal consciousness through drama. Has staged about a thousand. Nandimukh's popular productions include 'On Duty', 'Jbala', 'Alakananda's Daughter', 'News Cartoon', 'Red Lantern', 'Krantikal', 'Orpheus', 'Bella Shesher Golpo', 'Urnajal', 'Khenksial'. Etc.[3][8]

Their latest stage is the exhibition of the drama "Amar Ami". Nandimukh has also produced stage plays outside the country at different times.[9] Nandimukh has been honoring promising playwrights at the festival every time.[10][11][12]
