Na'ameh

Na'ameh (Arabic: الناعمة‎) or Haret en Naameh (Arabic: حارة الناعمة‎) is a Lebanese coastal town which is located in Chouf District, an administrative division of Mount Lebanon Governorate.[1] Naameh was the site of protests regarding waste disposal in 2014.

Currently the region hosts a small minority of Christian Maronites and Druze of about 4000 in Naameh and a large majority of Sunni Muslims with a population of 15,000 Lebanese and a lot of Syrian refugees in Haret en Naameh.
