History

The club was founded as NKF United in 2009.[4]

NKF United began life in the Leicester & District League, and in 2011 they won promotion to the First Division. In 2013 they were renamed as NKF Burbage, and that season saw the club gain promotion to the Premier Division as champions of Division One.[5]. After finishing as runners up in the following season the club left the Leicester & District League for the Leicestershire Senior League.[6][7] In their first Senior League season they finished as Division One runners-up and moved into Division three of the Midland League.[7] The 2016–17 season saw the club complete the season without losing a single game in all competitions, and so gained promotion to Division two.[8] The following season saw the club become champions of Division Two at the first attempt and so gain promotion to Division one.[4]

The 2018–19 season saw the club finish in sixth position in Division One and make their FA Vase debut, getting to the third round of the competition before losing to Shepshed Dynamo.[7]

Ground

The club played their home games at Kirkby Road, the ground belongs to Barwell F.C. who play in Southern League Premier Division Central.[9]
