NAFFCO

NAFFCO (National Fire Fighting Manufacturing FZCO) is a Middle East-based manufacturer of firefighting products, its business being built around fire protection engineering.[1] It has headquarters in Dubai, United Arab Emirates (UAE),[2] in the Jebel Ali Free Zone, and it conducts all manufacturing in the UAE.[1] NAFFCO is composed of two major business segments: security services and fire protection.

The company's vision statement declares its goal to be "the world's number one provider of innovative solutions, protecting life, environment and property".[1]

History

NAFFCO was founded in 1991 by Khalid Al Khatib.[1][3] It started working as a small fire fighting equipment manufacturing factory in Jebel Ali, UAE.[4][5]

Awards and recognition

NAFFCO received Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum Business Award for excellence in exports in 2005 and excellence in manufacturing in 2006, 2010 and 2013.[6][7] In 2017, NAFFCO received 9th Cycle of Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum Business Award.[8][9]
