My Weird School

My Weird School is a series of chapter books written by Dan Gutman and illustrated by Jim Paillot, based on the main character, A.J. and his friends who attend a weird school. The main character, A.J, a boy who hates school. He attends it with his friends, Ryan and Michael, and some other kids. His rival is a girl named Andrea, who loves school and never breaks rules. He describes her as; “a girl with curly brown hair and a goody-two-shoes attitude.” Andrea calls A.J by his real name "Arlo Jervis" because she knows he doesn’t like it. They have an adversarial relationship and face many conflicts during the series, which are usually caused by strange teachers.
