Morning Sun Animation Co., Ltd. is an animation studio which is a subsidiary of Wang Film Productions since 1989.

History

In 1989, Wang Ya-chuan (王亞泉/Wang Yaquan), Ping Zongyao (平宗耀), Hou Shenghui (侯勝輝), Huang Xingfang (黃興芳) and all of the other Taiwanese animation talents set up Morning Sun Animation Co., Ltd. in Taipei, embarking on his career of building the world of Morning Sun.

At the same year, Morning Sun founded an animation studio in Shanghai, (Shanghai Morning Sun). It was also the first batch of Taiwanese animation companies went to the Chinese mainland.

Between 1991 and 1994, Shanghai Morning Sun founded two animation studios in Suzhou and Chengdu, (Suzhou United Sun and Sichuan Rising Sun).
