Moose River in Nova Scotia

Moose River is home of the Moose River Market. Curated by Gregg MacDonald, descendant of A. Lloyd MacDonald from Garden of Eden. Here you can find one of a kind antiques and an impressive collection of license plates. Moose River mascot Rosie is always by Gregg's side; ready to great you with wag of the tail and a paw.

Also, located in Moose River is Camp Taterhead. This camp has the host with the most, Albert. Albie can be seen tending to the horses and other every day chores; but they are usually done tomorrow.

Throughout the year, primarily the last Friday in October until the first Saturday in December, you can see the PEI natives flock to Camp Taterhead. In chase of the elusive Nova Scotia white tail deer. These Islanders try with all their might to bag a big ol' buck. But as the saying usually goes for them...Better luck next year.

The 'old man on the hill' is otherwise known as Chum. His bark is worse than his bite. The always thoughtful Chum, likes to check in on his lady friend down the road...you know, to make sure her lawn doesn't need some tending too.

Taking a trip to Moose River will give you great laughs, beautiful scenery and if you're lucky some of Isabel's Apple Crisp.
