Montamentu

Montamentu is an African Caribbean[1] ecstatic religion or spiritual philosophy found in Curaçao.[2]

A modern-day form was introduced in the 1950s by immigrants from Santo Domingo.[2][3]

The music which accompanies Montamentu is Tambú.[1]
