Monogamija

Miloš Bobić, commonly known as MC Monogamija, Serbian Cyrillic: Милош Бобић, (born 27 December 1979), is a Serbian rapper who is known for his heavy rap lyrics, which are mainly connected to violence, drugs, wars and crime.[1]

Personal life

Miloš was born on 27 December 1979 in Belgrade, where he finished elementary school, high school and a College of Hotel Management. While he was in high school, he found an extreme interest in music.[2]

Carrier

Bobić started his rap carrier in 1995, when he recorded his first song.[3]He was a member of the Serbian band known as "Nite Lite", with whom he created several songs with in 1996.[4] In the same year, Bobić had his first concert in Belgrade's Youth Center, where other Serbian-rap groups appeared such as "Ful Mun" and "Belgrade Ghetto". In 1997, Bobić formed his own hard-rock-rap band known as "Up Against The Wall", which also made a few tracks, until the group separated in 1999, when the NATO bombing of Yugoslavia started.[5]

In 2001, Bobić started making new music, which he couldn't release because of the brutality of his texts, being too violent for commercial.[6] In 2005, Bobić appeared at the SKC Radio, where he met the Serbian rap group "Prti Bee Gee". His first solo-album was released in 2006, by the name "Bahata Familija" (English: Arrogant Family") for the record label known as "Take it or Leave It". In 2007, Bobić collaborated with the Serbian rapper known as Juice on a diss-track, which was a critic on a lot of Serbian and Bosnian rappers. According to numerous websites, their diss-track is considered to be the best Serbian rap diss-track.[7]

Bobić's second album got released in 2009, named "Lovac Na Kurve (English: Hunter On Hookers)", also for the same label.[8] On the album, numerous rap artists were on it such as: Mirki Maus, Kojot, Ša and others. Third album got released in 2010 by the name "Lobotomija (Lobotomy)", which also had other rappers in it such as: Eufrat, Ill Government, Lazy Gang and others.[9] in 2012, in collaboration with the producer Salier del Flores fourth album got released by the name "Brzinski U Formi (Speedy In Form)", which featured rappers Seven and Derač on the album.[10]

In 2018, Bobić was featured on the film Južni Vetar, having the role of a dealer.[11] In 2019, Bobić was an interviewed three times by the infamous Serbian production company known as "Balkan Info".[12][13] In 2020, Bobić released his new EP by the name "Bolest Izmiče Kontroli (The disease runs out of Control)".[14]
