Molybaron

MolyBaron are a French and Irish progressive rock and progressive metal band, formed in 2015 in Paris by the lead vocalist and guitarist Gary Kelly, born in Dublin.

History

The band was formed in 2015 when Gary Kelly, guitarist and lead vocalist, met the guitarist Steven André. Soon after, the bassist Sébastien de Saint-Angel joined the band. In February 2019, the drummer Camille Greneron[1] became the new drummer of the band.

Early 2017 the first eponymous album from MolyBaron was released,[2][3] a self-produced album with thrash influences like Metallica, and a powerful progressive music like Muse or Rush.

On 29 August 2017 MolyBaron played at L'Élysée Montmartre in Paris opening for The Psychedelic Furs. After this second concert of the band, they attended concerts and festivals like in 2019, The MusikÖ Eye Fest and the Metaldays 2019.

A second album has been recorded and several new songs are played at every concert since 2019.
