Mohammed Moftahh Elfitory

'Mohammed Miftahh Rajab El Fitory '' known as El Fitory Arabic محمد الفيتوري, is a writer, poet, playwright, of Sudanese, Egyptian, and Libyan ancestry.

Early life

Alfituri is a Sudanese and Libyan poet from the AlMasaleet tribe of Darfur. Alfituri was born in AlGineina in Western Darfur in 1936. He grew up in Alexandria, Egypt. Alfituri studied at Al Azhar University. He then joined the Institute of Political Science of Cairo.

Career

Alfituri worked as an editor and journalist for many Sudanese and Egyptian newspapers. Alfituri was appointed as an expert in the Arab League (1968–1970), and also as cultural consultant for the Libyan Embassy in Italy, consultant and ambassador for the Libyan Embassy in Lebanon, and also an ambassador and consultant for the Libyan embassy in Morocco. He is a member of the Union of Arab Writers.
