Mithilaj Abdul

Mithilaj Abdul is a Television producer and Programme Director of Comedy Utsavam,[1] which is a Malayalam comedy show which is broadcast by Flowers (TV channel).[2] He has made an entry into the Guinness World Records in 2018, for the most participants in a special live event television talent competition along with Flowers (TV channel).[3]

Early life and family

Mithilaj was born at Kilimanoor. He is married and has two children. He finished his schooling from Raja Ravi Varma Boys Higher Secondary School and graduated from Noorul Islam University, Tamilnadu[4]

Career

Mithilaj started his career in 2006 as Television Producer and he worked for Amrita TV. Then he worked in a production house and done an animation movie "Manikandan", He is also a mimicry artist[5] and performed in a lot of stages. Later he associated with Sreekandan Nair and produced Sreekandan Nair Show for Surya TV in 2013. He currently works for one of the leading Malayalam Television channel Flowers (TV channel) as a senior program producer and now directing a show Named "Comedy Utsavam". He has also directed some programmes named Comedy Super Nite 2 and 3, Nadodikkattu, Tharakabadi, Marhaba and Star Challenge. [6]
