History

On 29 February 2020, Miroslav Škoro, a former MP who stood in the recent presidential election, confirmed to the media the formation of a new party, four and a half months before the parliamentary elections.[9] Opinion polls conducted before the election have shown that right-wing populist and nationalist coalition led by Miroslav Škoro – consisting of Škoro's own party, some of the parties of the far-right Croatian Sovereignists coalition (which was formed to contest the 2019 European elections) and several other smaller right-wing and far-right nationalist parties;[10] may become the third-largest grouping in the parliament.

For the 2020 parliamentary election, the Homeland Movement signed a coalition agreement with the Green list, emphasizing "environmental protection and the fight against climate change".[11]
