Minister of State for Food, Forestry and Horticulture
The Minister of State for Food, Forestry and Horticulture is a junior ministerial post in the Department of Agriculture, Food and the Marine of the Government of Ireland. The office was previously titled Minister of State for Food and Horticulture from 1993 to 2011, and Minister of State for Food, Horticulture and Food Safety from 2011 to 2016.
The Minister works together with the senior Minister in this department and has special responsibility for all affairs in relation to food, forestry, horticulture and food safety. The Minister of State does not hold cabinet rank.
