The erect and open shrub typically grows to a height of 1 to 2 metres (3.3 to 6.6 ft). It is found on hills and ridges in a small area the Wheatbelt region of Western Australia between Perenjori and Yalgoo where it grows in loamy-clay soils over ironstone or dolerite.[1]
