Michael Perricone

Michael Perricone is a sound engineer, musician, television writer and the founder of Omstream, an online music portal similar to iTunes, but specifically for traditional and world music. In January 1985, he founded Interlock Studios (also known as Interlock Audio Post), a small, full-service audio post production studio located at 6520 Sunset Boulevard in Los Angeles. Interlock operated successfully for 18 years until Perricone sold it to Rick Larson in April 2003, who renamed it Larson Studios. After selling Interlock, Perricone served as Director of Audio Post at Threshold Sound, until 2009, when he launched his newest facility, Lotus Post, a 6-studio sound and video facility located at 1642 17th Street in Santa Monica, California.

Perricone's writing credits include two episodes of Star Trek: Voyager ("Prime Factors" and "Unforgettable") and two episodes of Charmed ("The Wedding from Hell" and "Feats of Clay"), all written with collaborator Greg Elliot. He and Elliot were also executive story editors on Charmed for a period between 1998 and 1999.
