Michael J. Lambert

Michael J. Lambert (born July 17, 1944) is a psychology professor at Brigham Young University (BYU) who specializes in mood measuring and behavior change. Lambert has authored or co-authored several books on methodology for clinical psychologists.

Overview

Lambert has served as president of both the Society for Psychotherapy Research and the Utah Psychological Association.

Lambert has also conducted a private practice as a psychotherapist for the last 30 years.

Lambert received all his degrees from the University of Utah.

One of the doctoral students who worked under Lambert was Benjamin M. Ogles, who has served as dean of Arts and Sciences at Ohio University and is scheduled to become the dean of BYU's College of Family, Home and Social Sciences in July 2011.[1]

Family

Lambert is married to Linda Pizza and they are the parents of five children.
