Michael Hollick

Michael Andrew Hollick (born August 5, 1973[1]) is an American actor. He is best known for being the voice and physical actor of Niko Bellic in Grand Theft Auto IV.[2][3]

Career

Hollick has appeared in plays like De La Guarda,[4] Fuerzabruta[5][6] on off-Broadway, and Tarzan[7] and Jumpers on Broadway.[8] Other credits include minor TV-roles in Law & Order, Hawaii Five-0, Law & Order: Criminal Intent, Law & Order: Special Victims Unit[9] and Sex and the City.[10] He played the villainous character Scar in the Las Vegas-production of The Lion King.[11]

After the release of Grand Theft Auto IV, he argued that he was not paid enough for his work on the game. He received $100,000 in total for his work while the video game grossed $600 million in total.[2][3][12]

Personal life

Hollick lives in Las Vegas.[1] He is married to actress Angela Tsai. On July 22, 2010, Tsai gave birth to their son, Maxwell Ming Hollick.[13] In 2015, Tsai gave birth to their daughter Eva.

Hollick attended Carnegie Mellon University, where he received a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree.[14] Hollick currently works for Disney's The Lion King in Las Vegas, Nevada and Morristown, New Jersey. Tsai and Hollick bought a house in Mountain Lakes, New Jersey in late 2015 for work purpose only.
